A contract is required. |
| Fee |
The fee is a non-negotiable, twenty-five percent (25%) of the first year's guaranteed, annual compensation for the position which includes salary; any guaranteed bonus amount; maintenance arrangements, company car or car allowances and the like. |
| Fee Payment |
We require one third of the estimated fee to be paid in advance to initiate the search assignment. The second one-third is due and payable when three viable candidates have been presented and are to be interviewed. The final one- third payment (adjusted to reflect the actual salary and fee amount) is paid once the person actually starts his or her employment and is to be received by us within ten days of the start date. |
| Retainer Required |
One-third of the project fee. It is non-refundable. |
| Guarantee |
We will replace the individual if he or she is terminated for just cause or resigns within 180 days of his or her start date. |
| Supplemental Candidate Information |
We will provide additional information on the individual as agreed upon with the Client Company for the specific placement agreement. |
| Interview |
We will interview the candidate in person as required and upon agreement with the client company and at the client company's expense. |
| Reference Checking |
We will conduct reference checking prior to submitting a candidate for consideration for employment. The furnishing of references, if any, by Hospitality Careers is CONFIDENTIAL and will be done strictly as an accommodation to the potential employer, therefore the employer agrees that its reliance thereon is solely at its own risk. |
| Background Check |
We will verify past employment (work history), education levels and any legal history that may be possible to attain. |
| Testing |
This is negotiable and is dependent on whether the client company has a particular testing program on which they rely and if we are capable of conducting such testing as a lay organization. |
| Presentation Format |
We will provide extensive details on the person's work history, personal background, references, etc. as outlined in the above. |
| Resume Provided |
We will provide a resume prepared by the candidate and as it is presented to us for distribution and/or a resume generated by Hospitality Careers to complete the work history for the client's internal use only and not for general distribution. |
